Well, that explains a lot. I always thought there was a mundane reason for celibacy.
:cheeky:
Yes, and also for the strange light surrounding holy water fountains and the excessive number of haunts in Hammerite catacombs.

During my first playthrough of TDS (the first one, that I got the chance to play), I thought, that the only remedy against undead is Holy Water and Fire Arrows. So I was pleasently surprised while playing the Cradle mission, during a really fierce Puppet attack. I was running out of useful equipment, so I desperately tried to hit the undead nutjob with everything I had left... including 3 flashbombs... ummm... they worked... nice... Arrrrhhhhh !!! :joke:
I also didn't discover The Well Equiped Thief shop in Black Alley until the very end of the game... :nono: :cheeky: :)

Lockpicking!
I didnt know that it works with HOLDING down the mouse button. I was klicking the mouse button like a maniac to open locked doors until my finger got bruised. :p
In ''the haunted cathedral'' in the abondoned city there is a locked metal door next too a street light where a burrick and a zombie are walking around. To open the well light door it took me half an hour this way. I got 10 clicks until the burrick was coming close and I had to hide again. Another 5 clicks and the zombie came.
I played thief for years like this until I watched a playthrough on youtube and all the doors where opened so fast. I am a dumbass thief!:D

It took me a while to grasp the lockpicking in TDS too... I kept turning the mouse in every possible direction, the tumbler moving extremely slowly. I was able to pick one only by lucky accident. I realised the actual LP mechanic soon enough, though... ;)

Didnt you know that you have to swing the sword with your mouse too for extra damage? :D ;)

Umm... You mean holding the "attack" button down for a while to get a stronger swing or fencing with the use of side-clicks ?

Nope, swing the sword with the mouse once you've released the attack button. Rotate your body. Basically, increase the speed that the sword is moving, therefore, increasing the strength of the collision between the sword and AI, therefore, increasing hit damage. :thumb:

Ah, haven't tried that yet. Thanks for the tip. :)

I'm a foolish Thief in the way, that i nearly never use equipment, that can run out (except for water arrows maybe or when i totally know mission is about to end) in thaught of: "What if later comes a place where i really need it?" and so on...
I'm too economical sometimes, eh.

It's not foolish, it's efficient. Good job!:thumb:
