...GTF...Perseus?
OK, I'll bite. What exactly does that mean?

Huh, and here I thought it was some strange derivation of GTFO.

You know every single one of us are gonna rush out to the theaters opening day to see this. We'll feign disinterest up until the 11th hour, then we'll all turn into 8 year olds again.

I'm not going to feign disinterest. A guy who knows how to make good science fantasy films is making a sequel to a series that popularized the genre before being taken off into some weird mish-mash of science fiction/drama/politics that failed on basically every level. Even if I end up thinking Episode 7 is a bad Star Wars movie, there's a significantly good chance it will be a competently made film.
I was watching Plinkett's (
http://redlettermedia.com/plinkett/star-trek/star-trek-09/) review of the Star Trek reboot recently, and I thought it was pretty neat that 5 years ago he said "JJ Abrams should have directed the prequel films". He totally should have. The Star Trek reboot was basically a Star Wars movie with a different set of characters.

Yeah, that seems like a fair assessment of Star Trek Into Darkness.
