After reading the previews and interviews, this may very well be the one game I buy next year :thumb: It sounds like something a Thief fan could enjoy, while at the same time bringing something new.

Looks great, Digi. Seems like you guys have come up with something imaginative, but it still has that Thiefy feel I've been craving since TDS came out. Must be exciting to work for a company that actually allows for originality. That's a rarity in gaming these days.
From the comments I've read on other sites, I think a lot of folks even outside the Thief/Deus Ex/Ultima fanbase are excited about it, too.

Digital Nightfall: Are you still working on this title? What engine does it use? I've heard that it is heavily modified UE3, but if Arkane is a branch of Zenimax, I was thinking that it would be idTech 5.

Yes, and it's UT3.5 (similar to the UDK, not UT3)

Hopefully it won't require a 2015 computer to run. Given the people the dev team consists of, it's only natural that I'm looking forward to seeing this one far more eagerly than T4, isn't it so? ;p

At the very least, a 360 or PS3 I imagine.

Digital Nightfall: Thanks.
cast: UE3.x is a very optimized engine. I'm sure Dishonored, due to its multi-platform nature, will run pretty smooth even on a middle-end PC. Just look at the titles like Mass Effect 2, Singularity, Bulletstorm, Alice: Madness Returns, and other recently released UE3-based games.
