So, I've got this winged demon rigged to cast spells, which works fine usually, but every once in a while, instead of casting the spell from her fingers, she lets one rip from her pit! I have no idea why. It only happens with the right hand spell cast, and not every time she uses that motion. Very odd. And a little disconcerting. Any thoughts?

It's normal dude, it's because she's selecting the projectile from her left hand during her animation when she's rising her right hand that give the effect that the projectile come from her pit.
If you manage to avoid that, you should make a choice and do that she attack with only one arm. Or to use custom motions because you cannot do that she will do animation depending on the selected projectile. (Even if such thing could be very cool...)
Or maybe some of our great and magical OSM scripter have cooked something that could do that?
Then, guys, if you are reading this, you are summoned! ;)

I don't know much about motions and such, but that demon is highly awesome Larry!
