Although, while not exactly the Ashes, based on that video where the bowler et al shy at the stumps badly from three feet away over and over again until the batsmen take a few more runs... if they changed the name to Drunken Night Cricket With Dave and The Boys the experience would be pretty accurate.

I had a good giggle at those earlier, but there was something that impressed me about it. There's obviously some interesting AI systems at work in the game. While comical, the video where the bowler continually fumbles the ball is intriguing as you can see the AI systems trying to grapple with getting the ball under control.
Poor animation and ball physics ensures it goes on for much longer than it should, but it doesn't crash and attempts to resolve the situation within the constraints of the engine.

Interesting. I'm taking a required Project Management course right now, and I'm going to bring this example to class as a crazy case example. It's the tech of Steam that allows you to cancel a project after it's finished.
