One series that really should have been a trilogy. Loved the 2 games in the series.

I loved those games too but the folks in the commentssection are thinking up way better questions than I can, so I'll just shut up.

Why isn't No Regret on GOG.com while No Remorse is?

I don't believe they've finished putting all the EA games up, so No Remorse will probably go up in due course.

Anyone want to sell me on these? I've never heard of them before. Do they hold up? Are they still worth playing 15 years later?

Well I played through Crusader No Remorse, a year or so again. Game was still great fun regardless of its age.

I tried to talk some friends into remaking it in Source or unreal a long while back.
Sadly not enough interest/talent/time.
I used to have The Traveller on my playlist, including some fan-made guitar cover.

At first glance its your usual isometric action shooter, but it was kind of ground-breaking for its time since it gave players alternative ways of getting past an obstacle, for example, maybe you need a key to open a secure door, or maybe you can blow a hole somewhere and destroy the power generators supplying the thing.
It's not exactly isometric DX, but I think it was certainly an inspiration.

Interesting read, Shadowcat. Thanks. It was odd to see just how much the industry has changed in a few short years.
