There's a high probability that AC2 won't be using it though, since it's been in development for a while.
Well hell, (

Huh, I wasn't aware that you need an interent connection to load Mass Effect 2 saved games which contain DLC. That blows hard.
And fuck Ubisoft. Their PC ports were always the worst anyway.

The ridiculous thing is, it's even true on the 360 version of ME2. How fucking idiotic is that?

hasn't the pc version been delayed due to priracy, once ubisoft make the profit they want from ps3 and xbox sales will the pc version be released. On ubisoft forums pc release date was stated to be end of march 2010.

All righty then, I guess it must be ok! Hardly anyone plays games on laptops. Nobody has a dialup connection through their regualr phone line. I can't imagine that anyone would only connect on an "as needed" basis in order to avoid the latest and greatest security breeches. And nobody would be offended by having to be on Ubisoft's internet leash at all times in order to have
permission to play a game that they already spent their money on. And good golly, won't it be fun in four years when you want to play the game again, but can't because the servers have been shut down?

Why on Earth would you want to play Assassin's Creed 2 when Assassin's Creed 8 is out, PeeperStorm? That would be silly.
PeeperStorm on 20/2/2010 at 06:56
By then the DRM will be such that in order to play the game you'll have to have an employee of the company there in the room with you holding onto a cattle prod that's been inserted into your rectum, and the game will destroy your hard drive and your monitor if he doesn't give you exactly one shock every ten seconds. And you have to pay for his meals, health insurance and hookers.
In actuality I won't be playing AC2 at all. Ever. My budget is too limited to waste on games from companies that tick me off. I'd rather replay the great games that I already own a few more times, even if there weren't other, better games to buy.
