I've seen that trailer and it does intrigue me. By the looks of the teaser I assume that this one will have the Animus part set in the Renaissance.

I really don't get the optimism in this thread. I mean Assassin's Creed was alright, but all that teaser does is remind me what a rip-off the ending felt like. Just a bunch of
scrawlings on the walls, randomly picked Bible-passages and hieroglyphs that may well have fuck-all to do with the story, or that of the sequel to cover-up that they didn't have any meaningful way of wrapping up the story at all. Now if it turns out the next one will have more varied missions and improved stealth-gameplay I'll start getting excited.
That was uploaded in 2007. Someone in the comments-section claims it's a Spanish-language trailer for the first one and I think that's likely the case.

i found the original game to be boring and a drag to finish, the fighting too easy and the stealth almost non-existing. they can improve on so many things for the sequel and the first one had so much potential (and succeeded in some parts) that I'm very anxious to see/hear more. let's hope they make the "real world" stuff more interesting and the story "tighter" and actually going somewhere. this could be GOLDEN, all the elements are in place, just like Bioshock2 has the potential to be killer !

If it plays in same alternative reality (first had something to do with time-machine right never played it) in which daVinci's idea's for cool devices have been implemented, it could be rather Thiefie.
