I'm still moderately enjoying Assassin's Creed 3, but I'm definitely at a point where I'm very unlikely to buy future instalments unless they've come way down in price. It's easy to accuse the series of getting lazy, but that's not entirely fair: they've clearly put a hell of a lot of energy into the game, they've added gameplay elements, the game world doesn't reuse any assets of previous games, yet in all the ways that matter AC3 does feel like *exactly* the game we've now played several times. There are a lot of *new* things, yet for all their newness they don't feel *fresh* - and they don't feel like they add anything to the game or make it more fun, except perhaps the naval missions (and even they get old relatively fast).
