This isn't rocket science, people! The video, based only on the viewing of it and not on material read, appears to show a tyrant who has just hanged innocent civilians and who is propogating fear to the people under his rule, being assassinated by an man in white who is acting as an instrument of justice.
Now, if you've read up on it, then you may know differently. What I am saying is that the movie is very well done because of the way that, barring one has read up on it, it appears to be a scene of justice and not an evil deed.

That is exactly the sort of assumptive thinking that depends on your politics that I'm talking about. I'm not making any claims, just saying that how one views the situation is very subjective

In other news; I heard a rumour that the premise of this game is that the main character is in a mental hospital and is hallucinating/imagining that he's an assassin in the Crusades.
I don't know if it's true or not, it's just something that was written in a magazine preview a few months back and then repeated on another forum.
Might go some way towards explaining the 'secret' of the techno information displays and 'stystem error' screens in the gameplay trailers.
Sounds like a pretty shit idea in my opinion...

i know this is totally off topic, but Komag, do you know of a program thatll run/burn .img files, because i got a torrent of thief gold, but none of the crap that i have is compatible with .img files, and that blows because i spent days downloading it, only to find that it wont freakin burn!! so, if youre feelin charitable, could you point me to either a torrentable or freeware program thatll let me run/burn .img files? id be much obliged if you did.

well, i would, but i have no money! :erg: which is y i need a prog that can burn .img files. if i had the money, i wouldnt have posted here, id have just bought the double pack (yes, they made those).

I think what Komag means is that it's against forum rules to discuss 'piracy'. You can risk a good warning or a good banning. If you absolutely must know how to do such things, don't point out the fact that you just downloaded an illegal copy of the game, consult someone through PM's, or use 'google' to search for programs that can handle .img format. Good lord people, it's the internet...use it!!! :laff:

nero burning rom can probably burn .img images
but if it can't, get daemon tools, mount the image and just copy the disc from the virtual drive using regular CD copying functions, like that of nero's
