Damn that looks great. I hope they make a pc version of it, cuz i'd much rather plop down money for a new computer than a PS3.
Does anybody know if any of the LGS guys are working on this game, cuz you gotta admit it doesn't look like it would take a lot of tweeking to turn it into a kickass Thief game.

I would imagine that we will eventually see a PC release. I guess they want to see how it will do in sales and then port it over.
Interestingly enough members from the Prince of Persia series are working on this one, so if you enjoyed those then rest assured this game is in good hands.

It's only for PS3 though, no PC.
So far it's been announced for the PS3, but UBI won't be drawn on any other platforms. It's been said in many XBox and other gaming journals, that it's a time relaesed thing, so in a few months after the PS3 one there is every chance of a 360 etc version.

In other news; I heard a rumour that the premise of this game is that the main character is in a mental hospital and is hallucinating/imagining that he's an assassin in the Crusades.
I don't know if it's true or not, it's just something that was written in a magazine preview a few months back and then repeated on another forum.
Might go some way towards explaining the 'secret' of the techno information displays and 'stystem error' screens in the gameplay trailers.
Sounds like a pretty shit idea in my opinion...
I heard that the character is supposed to be reliving moments of his past lives as an assassin via VR. As such, if he dies he drops back to the VR room and is told "that's not how it happened" - much like how the Prince revises his story if he dies in Sands of Time.
I suspect that Sony have paid for this game to be a time limited PS 3 exclusive. The Xbox 360 and PCs will most likely be finished and waiting for the time limitation to run out.

The trailer looks like some medieval/oriental The Matrix with the best elements ripped off from Thief.
Screenshots suggest it will be a 3rd person "run-and-slash" similar to Prince of Persia.
Orientation to consoles supports it. Ideally controlled by gamepad.
K thanks Ubisoft bye.
