Well, the stealthy bits of The Two Thrones were very fun, so no wonder Ubi decided to base a whole game around that. :)

Yup, they were actually a religious cult, they used to smoke enourmous quantities of hash before 'smiting' someone. How cool is that :ebil:
Wikipedia has a couple of articles which dispute these common beliefs:

Of course you can't always trust Wiki, but interesting articles nonetheless.
I find the bit saying they spent most of their time killing fellow Muslims, rather than Christians, very interesting. It also seems to say they only did the hash before working for the cult, as a way of duping them into believing that their leader could guarantee them paradise after death.
Looks like an interesting game though, even if it doesn't accurately represent the historical facts.

Prince of Persia meets Thief meets the crusades? Hell yes! :D
After reading a bit the freeform climbing/jumping/tumbling system sounds damn awesome... as well as the whole crowd/AI thing... people pushing and shoving each other, etc.
The trailer and the few screenies and sketches look cool as far as the whole urban thing goes. All we need more is hiding in shadows... not just behind stuff and in crowds.
Hm. Can you tell me more about the Two Thrones stealth? How'd it work?

Hashashins? (sp?)
Y'know....from where the word assassin comes from :).
Some people round the Kerava/Järvenpää/Tuusula area still call me Lord Hashashin, by the by. Ah, my loyal beduins. :p

I still get to be on top in bed, snuggums.

The new game information available at IGN has probably already been widely noticed, but I'll stick this link to the info (and the new video interview) here anyway:
