Hell yeah. Enter Animus...Exit animus...esc...quit?...load profile...exit...really exit? or something like that.
Played and finished the game 2 weeks ago or so. I really enjoyed it overall but agree with some of the objections that many people have had with it. I played through it without bothering to do any unnecessary side missions or intentional exploration. Doing the main missions alone gave me enough exposure to the environments that they created and I had no need to explore any further; gathering flags was not a fun gameplay element to me.
I didn't really enjoy the modern sequences that much. They were slow and jarring and I hated losing the ability to run.

I gave up at about step 3 and just Alt-F4 out of there.

Patch v1.02 was released within the last few days, along with a new Nvidia Forceware for XP.

I started this game and was instantly slapped in the face that I am clearly too stoopid to play it. :wot:
I can't get past the training part where you run (racing the other guy who has a head start I might add) to the marker...
I suck. :p

IIRC the ordinary 'running' speed isn't sufficient - you have to press the 'sprint' key once you've started running. It took me a couple of attempts to figure out, too.

Also, does anyone else find the exit game procedure unnecessarily convoluted?
Hell yes.

Ah, but for the convenience of pushing the off button on your console...

Looks like the IT show.
