Yeah, I've seen that a while ago. In fact, I only noticed now that I hadn't seen the trailer linked at the start of the thread yet.

All that I know about this game is that the producer behind it is very cute, and that it looks and sounds pretty neat.

There was a group of people who practice what you say. It may be them, in fact I think your right. Since they were so duped up, they were brutal in combat so many feared them. I aggree with Dix about not being exacltly correct with history, but still it's pretty close. They may just cut some parts out to make the game interesting.

It seems like the assasins in this game are more like the keepers in Thief, keeping the balance between the two factions.

No word on when but there was (http://www.xbox-gamer.net/actualite-xbox360-Assassin-s-Creed-confirme-sur-360_9718.html) a recent announcement relating to it's eventual PC release.

So it's just a matter of time, I guess. I'm not particularly fussed about it. I'm of the opinion that it will be mostly in-the-box contained gameplay with no real innovations, but I have been wrong before.

Yea, but spending $600 for a game isn't money spent well. It's a great game, looks cool and all but I'd rather wait if it comes out for pc. If it doesn't, then I just won't get it. sorry, but I'm already paying monthly for a MMORPG.

Get off the MMORPG unless you sell real estate through it or something. You can get a lot more fun if you end up buying a new game every so often than playing the same old game that just puts you on a thread mill.

One would think that it would be easier to find your friends on the gooncon LAN than the internets though. MMORPG and LAN are not compatible. And rarely is MMORPG and singleplayer compatible either (in case you don't have any friends).
In short, MMORPG has none of the benefits and all of the monthly payments.
