This game does look like it's going to be very interesting.
The only thing I'm wondering about is this.
How does the main character just scramble up buildings whenever he feels like it? Doesn't seem very realistic does it?

He scrambles up where there's something to grab on to. They already said that you can interact with any architecture that protudes more than two inches, so anything you can get a grip on with at least your finger-tips.
Seems fine to me.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I'm not completely sold on everything but come demo time, they'll have their chance to throw down for my $60 or whatever extortion they put on the price tag.

Yeah, that was hot shit.

The way he scrambled up the building looked pretty natural to me, you should check out some parkour/free-running videos.
I loved how smooth it was, and the combat was great too. Definitely excited about this one.

What wasn't natural, though, was the total lack of reaction from the crowd while he was doing said parkour monkey scrambling. I think if I was a guard worth my shit I'd at least notice some guy in the square doing acrobatics. I'm not totally sold on the public assasination thing.
Game still looks awesome.

Looks like there were no guards around though, and the public did stop to look and point (at 2:06 in the video). What I noticed most was people not really reacting to getting violently shoved to the ground. Maybe some of them should try to shove back?
Could become annoying very quickly though.

If Altir shoved me down, I probably wouldn't fuck with him.

All your missions will be in the daylight then?

It was stated (somewhere) that they'd turned off the most complex crowd dynamics in the interest of showing the demo off to completion (they didn't even manage that and got owned by the AI) - it's probably a difference of Normal versus Hard difficulty setting and how aggressive the crowd feedback is from your pushing and shoving.
Sadly, I heard something that sort of blows my mind about this game and it's hinted at in Jade's "has repurcussions to the present day" line - this is a pretty fucking major spoiler if true:
You are actually a present-day/future assassin who is tapping into his genetic-memory of a past ancestor who was one of these assassin's and these missions are only part of a game and the rest is in the present day/future.Now, that could be either all crazy kinds of awesome or crazy kinds of shit. It's ambitious and a little wacky, but fuck, if they pulled off some cohesive story, I'm sold.
