The game looks pretty interesting - all that high steeple climbing and rooftop long jumping and stuff.
But if it turns out that stuff was video of in-game cut-scenes and you cannot really do that yourself I'll be really dissapointed.

Jade Raymond's a bit of a dish really.
Thank God, she doesn't post here!
Not getting any luck accessing the video, constantly getting a "too many users - reload" message. :(

anybody seen the dev interview on gametrailers ?
this game will certainly not be dumbed down.
you have realistic health meter, meaning one swordhit -> you're down.
skill lies in timing blocks and swings, not in some fatality moves.
jumping will be automatically as well, you will use the joypads to control the intensity of movement (crawl, walk, run, short/long jump). I only have the highest expectations for this game. hell, they even use an UNCLE song in the new trailer which is pretty "hip" (although I don't like the band, the trailer is awesome with this movie)

Y'know, if some enterprising soul were willing to take Ubi up on it, the fact that features were mentioned in the manual but are not in the game could, if there are enough of them and they were referenced in the adverts or on the box, be taken as selling a product substantially different from that advertised.

That's pretty shit, all told - I mean, even Frontier Developments managed to get their games patched up eventually.

Those fuckers pulled it.
Most of it was pretty positive but the last paragraph sealed the deal -
Quote:
Ironically, though, the game's friendly controls are also its biggest shortcoming; killing your target normally instigates a chase sequence where you freerun across the rooftops and make fearsome leaps of faith to dodge your pursuers. But as there's no jump button and your hero will perform most acrobatic moves automatically - Legend Of Zelda-style - the controls strip the game of the visceral thrill of making moves at precisely the right moment like you did in the developer's earlier Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time, making AC's most exciting moments feel flat and as if they're being played by someone else.
