Slam,
While playing thru the indoor maze the second time, I realized
you can take off the gas mask in the second part of maze or you can leave it on and lure your enemy into the gassy parts.
Mook
I think that you can use the items on the blaster door, right next to it? Have you tried that? Also, have you got the lt's key yet? He is up top of the lift, asleep...his room might have something useful...

I've tried using a lot of different things in the frobbable lock mechanism to the left of the blast door. I have two different key pieces that both have the same description (Incomplete homing key node) but they both look different. If I try using them on the lock Garrett just say's, "hmmmmm" and then nothing happens. I also have the 2 keys that I picked up outside in the little room with the overly alert guard but I still haven't found a use for them. I also have a silver gear key that says Secret Passage key that I haven't found a lock for yet. The only place on the map that I haven't been through yet is what's behind the blast door.
@mook: for the implement you want
just pick up the part from the garbage bin in storeroom 1 and the one in the captain's secret workshop. they should combine automatically.would anyone like to tell me where to find
the 3rd time bomb mentioned in a lab report? I only got the one from lab1 and that in the Lord's office.btw. I'm still missing 1 secret
I've picked up both of the pieces and they did not automatically combine into the key that I need. Possible bug with the mission?
mook, happened to me too. i assumed it's a bug- unless i hear otherwise here that we both missed something. if not, off to try normal. too good an fm to leave unfinished.
oh yeah, those two keys
by the front door with the alert guard are for those two ensuing doors right there
Mook,
I've not heard of this bug until now. Have you tried droping both pieces and then picking them up again? Otherwise - hopefully you have a save from before getting the second one, which may help.

I re-installed the UsrScriptT2_1x2BugFix.zip file and then started the game completely over from the beginning and now the keys automatically combine as soon as I pick up the second piece. I've also noticed that I now need the gas mask in all of the gassed areas where I didn't before. As long as I had it in my inventory I could enter those areas without putting it on. That's going to make it tougher in the maze because you can't use the blackjack with it on. Before I just knocked the guys in there out and went on my way.

cool, will try the re-install myself.

I've done a bunch of things, but nothing seems to bring me any close to my objectives.
I went through the gas maze, but all I found were the B and G levers; I found another one that teleported me to a tiny, gasless room with two boxes and one lever; the boxes had loot, and the lever teleported me back atop the table in the cubicle where I pulled the teleporting lever in the first place.
I haven't found a "second part of the maze," where I can find the A-O-Y buttons (am I just weird, or did anyone else think "Ag Boy" was a pun on "golden child?"). I think I'm missing an all-important lever somewhere.
That's not my only problem; I also can't find the entrance to the lord's manor, and I think I have to go there before completing the maze above.
Also, I got into the cryonics gas room in Lab 1, crept across, and opened the gas-storage area; I found a cryo-gas tube (which sets off an alarm if you take it), plus a redgas and a greengas tube... but they have a T and an X joint, rather than the Ys I got from the circular room with the vault doors on top and bottom. I have no idea what these things are, nor where to use them. Do they come into play later?
I'm so frustrated, I'm about to start KOing everybody, and to heck with ghosting. At least to look around a bit.
Can somebody point me in the proper direction?
Thanks,
Dafydd

Dafydd..don't despair!
You have to add the values of the letters to 18 in ascending order.
Bigger spoiler
Only three of the letters add up to 18. So you need to go to O first, then B and finally Y and a secret door should be revealed to you. I hope that helps.
Dafydd.
Yes, you do have to go to the Lord's Mansion to get something you need to complete the mission.
In the room when the blaster door is stuck, go up the lift and look at the guy there...that should get you started. You need something from him.
Once you have done that, you will find out where the tubes go but it is not where you think they go now, okay?:thumb: Good luck!
Anyone? I'm still short of loot and missing one secret...anyone please help? I've managed everything else but where on earth is that secret and missing loot?
