Since installing 1.23, I'm getting Assertion Failure errors in some of the older missions

EDIT: Other missions play just fine via Dromed.
You never said that you delete objects. I can delete object 100, nothing happens. It's a fine object, nothing wrong with that. I like it a lot :eww:
What else did you delete? And why do you do this?
You can't blame a FM or NewDark for that.
I checked some missions
Oswald's Patisserie has the invalid scaling component on object (254)-error
the same error in
Lord of the Thieves: Attack of the Orcs (obj 780) - and a lot of bad room brushes.
Hammerite Hideout is very, very badly roombrushed. I'd quit if I were DromEd. Lots of errors and a "expecting singleton link"-error as well

If a mission is crashing, a good way to track down the reason is to start deleting suspected objects. First, I deleted everything that had a particle FX. Mission still crashed. Next, delete all projectile weapons. Try it again. And so forth. When I got to the lights, and object 100 was highlighted, pressing DELETE gave me the error (see OP) and the mission crashed.
Why am I doing this? Because when I write a walkthrough, I need to go inside the FM to examine QVARs, find secrets and loot, count RAT items, etc.
I just did another clean install and got the same results. I'm going to re-install from scratch but not the Dromed Toolkit. If the error goes away, then I'll know something is wonky with the toolkit install.

My suspicions are confirmed. I did the TP1.23 install but NOT the Dromed Toolkit. Oswald's Patisserie no longer crashes. Something in the toolkit is causing a conflict.

How did you install the DromEd-Toolkit? Which files did you put in your installation?

LotT: sorry about that, first real mission. I've got no problems running it by the way.
HH: it was made for the Crap Contest and was my first attempt at building levels, what did you expect?

I unzipped the contents into the T2 folder, like the instructions said. It overwrote several files.

Looking at the files in DromEd toolkit 1.13, I can see a huge convict.osm. It's much bigger than the original T2 convict.osm. I think this one is from T1/TG.
Just ignore this file and don't put it in your Thief 2 directory. Leave it alone. Fan missions like Warehouse 51 should work then.
Put all the cmds in your Thief 2 folder, anyway.

Nothing. It's you, who mentioned 'one of your missions'. I was just searching for a pattern, some bad stuff these missions have in common.

Oh crap, there seems to have been a misunderstanding. I meant one of my missions that I've been working on, and not an already released mission. I apologize.

Never mind :)
