I used these converters in past projects and thought I'd pass the info on. I realize there are others out there that may be faster, slicker, whatever. But these are all
open source freebie utilities that convert A/V formats quite well. They can all be found (

Freemake Audio Converter handles .WAV, MP3, OGG (the ones we deal with), plus a lot more.

Freemake Video Converter can take an AVI video you've done (but for some reason won't work in Thief) and fix it just by running it through the app.

Freemake YouTube-2-MP3 lets you snag audio from any YT video, no fuss, no muss.
They've got some other utilities on their site which may be of interest, but these are solid, IMO. The only caveat: The installation process is loaded with nasty add-on toolbars, so be very careful if you want to avoid these.
