dethtoll: All that means is that we`ll either buy the game off ebay or find a place to download it. Not a big deal really.

Let's not turn this into a poorly-spelled, poorly-thought-out debate about Steam, eh?

From the looks of it, it's the melee weapons that tipped their hand this time.

Old news. Next game please.
Seriously, this shit has been going on for over 15 years. Banned games will always find a way. Duke Nukem 3D was censored back in its day ffs. And the original GTA was marked for a ban. But even those that scream bloody murder find their way on the Australian shelves. Well... maybe not all. Fallout 3 was one (one of the most recent that is), though that was still sold here even though it was a heated debate on tv between the very limped dicked arse-wipes that we speak of on the classification board. I could link to a youtube video, but do you really care? Anyway, what was I saying... Oh I do not know. Yes it is about time video games were categorized as the adult entertainment medium that they are. Though we are talking about the same nut licker that wants to ban Second Life. SECOND LIFE!! God help us all.

Haha, WTF? That sounds just as unhinged as the views of Jack Thompson.
Anyway, because of Australia
every copy of Fallout 3 was censored. Morphine being renamed Med-X? Meh. But they flat-out removed the arm animations where drugs are administered. ARGH.

Second Life is probably most HC game around, so no surprise there.

The Australian Classificiation Board is just retarded and probably full of uptight conservatives. Doesn't help that Michael Atkinson(may he die a horrible death) doesn't want to pass the law for R18 games. Ah well I guess there's always eBay and imports.
By which means does Atkinson stay in office? I don't know how it works, is it a position that the population has no direct control over, or is it that the greater part of the population doesn't give a shit? As I recall, the initiative to create an 18+ classification category for videogames got the go-ahead from
everyone else responsible, but that shitsucking pigfucker vetoed it.
Oh, and what's the status on that LOL BAN INTERNETS government project you got going there? Last I heard, they were moving to exclude the individual option of choosing out of the nation-wide filter.

That
is a shame. FO3 handled the subject of drugs better than any other game I can think of, by showing both the good
and bad effects of them.
