Australian PC Powerplay mag

I see that Arx has a preview in the new PC Powerplay! Nothing we haven't already read, but wonderful for getting the word out to the unenlightened!

It included a handful of screenshots (including that lovely one of light rays streaming through a window into a dark room), mentioned that Looking Glass fans should take note that the game was essentially Underworld 3, and made generally enthusiastic comments. Hopefully this indicates the game will also get good coverage when it's released.

I quite like this magazine; they seem to have a few fans of LG (and games of a similar ilk) on the staff.

I've got an old copy of PC-Powerplay somewhere that has a flashback review of the Underworld series. Ill try and find it and will post it up here when Im done.

It's the May issue, with "Black & White" on the cover, and "Giants" on the CD.

I had another look this afternoon, and while it's a two-page spread, there's only about 1.5 columns worth of text in all; most of the space consists of a handful of screenshots at varying sizes, most (perhaps all) of which you've seen.

I wouldn't buy the mag for this, but like I said, it's great for those who hadn't heard about the game yet!

Ill try to track that mag down tommorrow Shadowcat. Its actually over at a friend's house as it originally belonged to him. He gave the mag to me when I happened to be looking through his old games magazines about a month ago and noticed the article on Underworld. I forgot to take it home with me, but Im sure that hes still got it. Ill post it up here when I've found it.
