Wait, you own a harpsichord? Eh, nvm...

I did--I think some bastard stole it. Yes. It's all coming back to me now, like a dream. Oh that night in Paris, when we were young and full of fancy. Or was that Nancy? Either way, the hors d'oeuvres sucked and I hated the play. Poor Mr. Lincoln will never be the same again.

Been reading too much of Eco lately? :D
Oh, Sharga, do you bear any relation to
Sham Harga?

Mate stick around for the next 12-24 hours. An old chum is about to go public with another mission. You won't want to miss it.

Komag- Ahh yes, and what fond carefree days those were. I'm happy to see that your site still stands as a bastion of hope to the world of the benevolent days of yore. And from what I can tell, it still looks the same as I remember it. Sounds like you've been just as busy as ever contributing to the overall awesomeness that is the Thief universe. I always appreciate your work man.
Seconded.

Seriously, now if only he had a keytar to accompany it.

Alas, none that I know of, besides the obvious name similarities. However,
Moist von Lipwig and I are twin brothers, separated at birth (though if you ask, him he'll deny it and, if pressured, only admit that we are distant cousins, thrice removed).

Welcome back, Sharga! Whenever I want to see really good fog or check to see if it's working on my computer, I load up Swamped. It's still fun, even after all these years. I hope you plan to stick around for awhile. :)
pavlovscat on 1/11/2009 at 01:25
So good to see you back home! Swamped was one of the first missions I played when I got my new graphics card and finally had fog. Awesome!!
Kudos to Thor for waking the dead! :thumb:

Oh yeah, nearly forgot:

Btw, do you still have all your unfinished missions (and are you considering the possibility to release them one day)?
I'm sure the files are still around somewhere (in a lock-box in an armored truck parked somewhere near the earth's core). However, it was a very pretentious campaign (more so than a personal throne room) and I've forgotten almost everything about DromEd, except for how much time and effort it took just to make one room. Then again, miracles can happen...
Nightwalker- Thanks! Nice to see you're still Modding around here. I plan to be around, though perhaps not quite as involved as in previous days.
pavlovscat- Have you met Schrödinger's dog yet? (sorry, bad I know :tsktsk:). You don't know how cool it is for me to hear that people still play Swamped. I can only hope they've long since forgotten about Mansion of Chaos. Gah! Thinking about it still gives me little seizures. Seriously though, getting back into Thief again has got me excited in a way that no other game can. I guess it's true what they say, "once a taffer, always a taffer" (don't ask me who actually says that, besides me).

Sharga, you tell your brother that these postal strikes are an absolute disgrace.
Schwaa2 on 1/11/2009 at 18:37
Damn, all that time spent trying to forget (and it worked) and now he comes back and reminds us. lol.
Welcome back Sharga.
DarkMod has also been released and there are missions to go with it.
