(
http://variety.com/2014/film/people-news/roger-hill-who-played-cyrus-in-the-warriors-dies-at-65-1201120971/) I don't think I can dig this.
The Warriors is one of those classic movies bigger on atmosphere than story, and kind of exemplifies the weirdness of late-70s cinema. It's even weirder given that the overall concept is very 60s in execution, but that's why it was both anachronistic and slightly futuristic, and I love it for it.
It's a shame Hill didn't go on to do much more of note after this, but then again neither did most of the others in the film. I think Deborah Van Valkenburgh may be the most successful.

Oh man. I just finished posting Paco's death and found this.
It's shaping up to be a sad week.
RIP Roger.

My money's on James Remar (who played Ajax) that dude shows up in all kinds of places. Django Unchained, Pineapple Express, etc.
Anyway, Roger Hill's performance in The Warriors was brief but certainly memorable. R.I.P.
