Of course, the <1 minute times are possible on normal difficulty, where there is no loot or 'return to the streets' objective, so the only thing you need to do is run in through the front gate, right to the throne room (using the secret passage may help), and grab the scepter. I only got times like 52 seconds so far, though, but this might be improved with more practice/luck.
5 minutes on expert is not bad, was that done with 100% loot ? I have a time of 7:59 that way (with 3 knockouts), but it is quite old, and can probably be done much better.

Yes I always grab all the loot. I mean it's just sitting there and when I pick up one piece, I have to run around and get it all. I'm just werid like that. Today I'm going to attempt it to see what my actual time is.
I went to the Bonehoard this morning just to see the Burricks... I killed all of them! Every last one. I'm getting pretty good at killing them with my sword. Just gotta stay behind them

Just ran Bafford's on expert. Got all the loot. My time was 9:34. Pretty bad :(
I went in the normal way and a few guards got in my way. 0 damage delt and I took 6

you mean you got all possible loot on Bafford level? or just all necessary loot to finish the level?
Istvan Varga on 19/11/2006 at 12:20
The 7:59 time on expert was with 100% loot (i.e. 1429 total) and no game saving or loading. However, as already mentioned, it is not a really good time at all, as I tried it now again with the same rules, and got 7:38 on the first try, and 7:09 on the second. In all cases, there were 3 knockouts, and no saving or loading (although I needed to leave game mode temporarily to switch to software video for visiting the spider cave, since with my current card I can see nothing otherwise when swimming underwater).
The fact that the times are improved so easily suggests that really good players could do much better, maybe 5-6 minutes.

Yes I got all of the loot. I can never get in through the front. I usually get stuck on some guard and end up getting chopped to bits.
I went at it again this morning and got 9:12 this time. I didn't get caught up on as many guards this time. I'm going to keep on trying to go through the front, but I have the hardest time. Even on expert

yay i got 51 secs on Normal. maybe if i could have jumped a bit better, id get 50. but 41? its ridiculous.
ill not even try on Expert, i know ill forget some piece of loot and then i have to run around the house finding out what did i miss, and the time is screwed. a bad memory i have.

I think I've managed Bafford's on Expert in something around one and a half minutes, but I can't remember my exact time anymore.

I could never beat my own (

For me, the secret passage was always slower than just entering the room with a key picked in front of it. There is a video of Simulation doing it in 40 seconds on some German website.

1:30 looks like an excellent time to me, even without the maximum possible loot. I was able to get a 1:45 and a few 1:47's (all with 723 loot), but having a clean run through the level without having doorways blocked by attacking guards etc. was not possible most of the time. I have improved the 0:52 to 0:49 on Normal, but that is still far from being perfect. Expert with 100% loot could probably be improved significantly, too.
Update on Normal difficulty: I have now a (

Without this engine exploit, there is a (
