In one of the rooms off the hallway on the ground floor I opened a chest and ended up with a chest in my hands! Cant drop or do anything else with it.
I have a screenshot but I do not have anyplace to put it on the web right now :(
Its the room opposite the temple(?) doors with the skulls and swords.

IIRC, pressing "R" should let you drop the footlocker.

Doh! "R" is default. Also what Thief:tdp is still set for. I often forget that my thief 2 is setup differently. I pressed "R" but its been reassigned :P
"L" on the other hand worked well silly me.
Another question.
[SPOILER]In the pit where you move the ribcage to open the secret door, after I go in I find a statue blocking the exit. Dolp! Any fixes for that?[/SPOILER]

I hear water arrows work wonders there. I didn't figure it out myself, i leant in and grabbed the loot without it ever appearing!

Very fun mission so far. But now I'm having the same problem that a few others have had. The game crashes as soon as I kill the Mech Priestess.
I tried 5 times and it happened each time. Has anyone figured out :confused: what is causing this? I really would like to finish because it's been great up till now.

I'm not sure why this problem is occuring, except that early in design time my pc would crash when I had two mechanists in the chapel. When I deleted one, it stopped crashing. Did you try other methods to kill the mechanist priestess? If you still have a gas arrow you can KO her and then drop her into the oubliette.

How are you killing her exactly? I never ran into a single bug after playing it twice...I just run up to her and kill her with a sword... :confused:
Do what John said...use a gas arrow... then maybe drag her body into an entirely new area and THEN kill her with your sword.

I've tried gassing her and throwing her down over and also gassing her and slashing her with the sword. I cant take her to a new area because the wall has closed. is there a way to open it back up? :confused:

Sorry, but the only way to open the wall is to kill the priestess.
