I'll talk to you about it in seven days.

I won't talk to you about it ever.

So... it's not bad. I spent a little over an hour exploring the first world in my own little car that I built, and I conclude that Rare knows how to create appealing worlds with atmospheres conducive to exploration. Graphics are beautiful and colourful as always, and the controls are nuanced enough to stay interesting. A few times I became frustrated because my car wouldn't handle the way I wanted, but then I realised the point of the game is to experiment until your car is right for the specific task. For forty dollars I'd consider buying it; normally I spend ten minutes with a demo, but this game has a strange pull...

I think it looks neat. I wish I had a 360 :(

Laugh if you will, but this game is surprisingly fun. Te system for building custom vehicles is pretty cool (and way too complicated for young kids) and a great new twist on your typical platform game. Have yet to try the multiplayer, but the single player is burning plenty of hours right now.

Like Viva Pinata, I think this game would probably suit both kids and adults (only the youngest children would be unable to figure out the vehicles). And anyone who'd dismiss Rare's games based on colour scheme needs to reevaluate their outlook on life.

Yeah I'm a big fan of Rare, I think it takes a lot more maturity to be able to relax and just enjoy a game that may seem childish, rather than being "manly" enough to enjoy a gritty game like Gears of War.
Rare seem to have the ability to churn out games which just ooze character, hell, even Kameo would have been a completely ordinary game if it wasn't for the visual flair and character of the game.
