I dunno, try the link in the first post? ;)
The person who hosted it was out of bandwidth at the time.

Just download JohnP's new thief DS textures, it has the same new Garrett skin
You mean the high-res textures? Does anyone have screenshots of those? I'm curious to see what they look like. I guess I can always install them.

Wow, those seem to have come out rather nicely.

This file link and the one on the Huge list of modifications is completely broken.
First, Because the owner of the site the file is hosted on doesn't pay for his bandwidth.
Second, Just because the file is 2 years old doesn't mean it shouldn't be accessed.
Art is Art. Like paintings that are lost. Same applies for game art my friends. Please revive the link.

If you want Garrett with arms, just download John P's texture pack. It has Garrett with sleeves. And a taffload of others.

Oh sorry. Didn't know that had it.

You know what ought to be the next step in TDS texture editing? Garrett w/ a cloak. :cheeky: Hes always been depicted with one, so why not give him one? Or is the engine just not up to the rigor of that sort of thing? (from what I've heard, its basically the bastard child of the Dark Engine and the Unreal Engine)

That wouldn't just be texture editing, it would almost entail an entirely new mesh - whether for Garrett or to attach to his existing mesh. Thats not as easy as just making something to go over the existing mesh. It'd almost need animations of its own . . . so when he moves this way, it moves that, etc. No small project there. Not sure anyone loves DS *that* much.

I was expecting massive injuries, but a model is fine too. :p
