Just had a quick play of the pc demo, what can I say, Ive got goose pimples. The coding on this game is very good, and its runs much smoother than some previous next gen games I've played(eg...Stalker:cs)
Im gonna start saving for a GTS250 to sit alongside GTX285 to take care of all the physX...

How does that work though? Do you SLI them or does it just do the calculations?

You can only sli cards of the same model and also as I have an X38 intel mobo cant do sli.
But what I can do is run another nvidia card in the spare pci-e slot and set this card in the nvidia control panel as to do physx processing only.

Relevent system details -
Qx9650 @3.2Ghz & 400FSB
4GB DDR2-1066
GTX285 @702/1584/1296
20" screen @1680*1050
I had been running BAA at max with AA*2x and ambient occlusion turned on and it ran smooth as you like. I then enabled physx and set it to high and to my suprise no slowdown, still smooth as you like.

Something for those who (like me) cannot function in a game where keyboard + mouse controls can't be custom mapped.
THE most useful gaming resource I have ever found:
(

I seriously could not live without this thing. And it's FREE \o/
What I'd like help on from those of you who have this game is this... From what I understand, the retail boxed version is the Windows Live/XLive whatever version, is this correct?. I know that it's a checkpoint-only save system (as much as I dislike that, it's another topic), I just absolutely do NOT want to have to connect to XLive to save my game at all and to access it (that just PISSES me off to no end). So... which version (Steam/Direct2Drive, other...?) Allows saves WITHOUT the need to connect/login to Windows LIVE?

Whoa! 2 important things in one post. Wft is going on in here.
That Glove thing - it allows remapping of keys in games that don't usually allow such?
And Batman needs Windows Live to save on PC? Err, maybe I will get the PS3 version after all.

I don't have an option at this point and I'm playing it on the PS3. It's massively fun. You can consider that a ringing endorsement.

Man that game was sweet. I think GfW is only a small price to pay for constant 60fps with an unrivalled level of detail & huge resolutions on almost any recent video card. I'm so glad I bought a 360 pad a few years ago when my old Saitek died.
