Resistance 2 on hard is an exercise in frustration. I gnashed my teeth so many times I'll probably never be able to eat food that requires me to use my incisors again.

I'm talking about games for PC and console, mostly the pc version seems to be on the easy side when I play on hard (or the kb+mouse makes it easier). notable exceptions for me where DeadSpace on insane, that was pretty hard. but Batman and other commercial "we-need-to-please-as-many-as-possible-games" seems to go for that difficulty or lack of. and you don't have to take me serious, it's a free world, make up your own little world like I did. sometimes they will overlap and we will understand each other. if not, why should I care ?
since I never owned any console (besides an MSX-2) I did not play many games on them, mostly their ports on PC and a few old PS2 games and a few xbox at a friends. since I'm not into fighting games (except StreetFighter) I can't comment on Ninja Gaiden (which doesn't seem to be aimed at "everybody" rather than "the dedicated")

i found poison ivy to be the "hardest" one - as in more random and less predictable than the other boss fights. the rest is more like run away - attack - retreat - and repeat. usually I don't attack the "small" enemies than rather overjump them constantly only keeping track of the boss when he charges. you don't loose your freeflow doing this while with running alone - you do. stupid bosses usually take care of the minions (bumping into them) and if you take down the boss....the fight ends immediately. just start your fight with a 3time combo and you are in "the loop".

Titans are easy to kill, i know that - just fickle because they flail everywhere.
