Do you actually own a large LCD HDTV and one of the HD consoles though mothra?
It's hard to understand why you would prefer to play certain games on such a set-up until you've actually experienced it.
And projectors, while they sound like a good idea, are impractical. Unless you have a dedicated darkroom, they're nowhere near as vivid as an LCD or plasma.
I used to take a projector home at weekends for playing games and watching movies on, and they're loud, hot, and the picture degrades over time a lot quicker than with a TV. Plus when a bulb blows, they cost a small fortune to replace.

everybody I know has an LCD screen. I got an CRT projector/darkroom since I mainly watch video and for that CRT is superior (which runs since 15 years without any change of tubes) and has no fixed resolution. At work I can lend out an DLP projector capable of 720/1080 and hook it up to my PC. it got a contrast of 6000:1 and is perfectly capable to be run at broad daylight. NOT that I EVER played a game in broad daylight, circumstances make the experience as much as the game's visuals itself. I never experienced any bulb "blow" anywhere besides in presentation rooms where projectors run 24x7.
I don't "watch" TV, I only watch docs and movies and never "zap" or let my projector run for longer than the time I need it.
my "real" TVset exploded 4 years ago after working for 18years and I never replaced it. What for ?
the xbox-hdtv setups I have seen make my head hurt, you sit at the wrong angle, distance, you tend to slip into the couch and ruin your back, not to speak of holding a controller infront of you suspended in the air. People think that this is "more convenient" when all I see is a ruined back and hurting eyes. that's why I adjust my projection size to the distance you sit from the screen. it's all better in the end to prevent hurting eyes, sore necks or headaches.
and I only play certain games on projector where you do not have much input (like adventures) to prevent the above.
if the game is demanding in terms of input and concentration a REAL GOOD CHAIR and screen on a desk is much better and healthier for me.

Good for you. My HDTV will do fine thanks. I got the PS3 because I think certain games are better experienced on the sweet HDTV. I don't sit at the wrong angel, distance, holding the controller suspended and I have a nice leather couch that I don't slip into. Sounds like you don't have control of your own body because you know all those things can be changed, right? Unfuckingbelievable bs itt.
And I found the demo for PS3 but man it's taking an aaaaage to DL. Unless it's real ass I'll not get the PC version. The one thing I found really cool was the mods but after all is said and done its a choice of new suits vs big screen.
Screen wins.

The game in general is extremely easy I thought. I was playing it on the hardest difficulty setting and even then found myself just mashing the buttons and triggers to beat the fights.
Neat story, but it loses its edge towards the ending levels, especially Poison Ivy and the extremely disappointing Joker final "Party" fight where he is essentially just throwing more and more dudes at you. Very boring and I was just getting angry and when I finally beat the game (not 5 min ago!) I didn't feel like I'd experienced one of the potential games of the year - rather I was relieved that there were no more rounds of stupid fighting thugs.
Still, that said - I enjoyed the stealth parts, could quite easily have completed the game on Detective Mode and the graphics were lush and unique.
Oh, and did anyone else have nasty thoughts about Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn...:sly::sly:
Definitely suggest you buy it, but just be prepared for the final 2 levels not living up to the rest of the game.
8/10 Fonz's.

God God thank the Lord I DLed the PS3 version! There is no way I'm getting this version. No. Way.
It looks nice and all (esp on the big screen) but that camera control is whack. In fights it defaults to just above you and then spins around like a whippamathingy. Nope. PC demo gave me much tighter controls overall and especially of the camera. And even without all the fancy Phsysex it looked better.
Phew! That'll learn me.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Dirt 2 demos were lush though. On the list.

Hrrr. That bad, eh?
I'm avoiding PC games because I need to fix a memory issue that may or may not require a motherboard replacement on my PC but if the controls are that shithouse on the PS3 I may not have much of an option.

Hmm, that's bizarre. I played the 360 version and I never once had a problem with the camera. In fact, I don't even remember what the camera control was because not once did it bother me.

I'd suggest downloading the demo first, as the PC controls were a dealbreaker for me.

Yeah, I thought it worked better than the PC demo's camera.
