It's hilarious to look at steam or anywhere and note the range of prices and how it has no relationship to...well, anything really. Age, cost of development, audience; none of that stuff matters. Game pricing is more insane than cars. One day the lucky will just give up and let our employers lease us the years' games at a bulk discount to them rather than have to deal with industry bullshit.

No announcement regarding a possible Steam pre-load has been made yet. Such things aren't a given either.

steam says 25th november for me (austria, europe), amazon says 18th november, play and game say November 11....

It's pretty standard to have different release dates for different regions. The Play.com date is definitely dead wrong though.
