Sulphur is right on the money about the very few games with HW-accelerated PhysX effects, very few people care. Hell I have a relatively good Nvidia GPU, yet I still played through Mafia 2 with HW PhysX efffects turned off, because I prefer higher + smoother average framerates. In vanilla Mafia 2 there's plenty of fine detail in the likes of environment destructibility and clothing movement, I found the experience very impressive visually.

?Yes that is worrying too - i wasn't aware of that.
It does show you though that developers seem to be increasingly keen to being paid off to make certain decisions with regards to features of their games.
Developers getting paid off? ROFL. Pretty much all promo DLC decisions would be the publishers' decision. Actually in a lot cases publishers are being blackmailed by large retail chains. Someone with the size and power of Gamestop has the clout to DEMAND exclusive extras. "Give us something to encourage consumers to buy the game from us, or we won't do X and Y."

In terms of the dlc and all of that, all that does is either unbalance the game or ends up breaking it up.
Generalise much? Blind blanket statements like that are the domain of ignorant fools.
The themed clothing + vehicle didn't imbalance the game at all. A sports car from the vanilla game, that's been supercharged at mechanic's garage, was easily on-par with the better DLC cars.

Hm... so this is coming out next week, but the PC version has been bumped to November. I hope it doesn't end up as too much of an afterthought... good that they're taking their time on it, I guess.

Then I'm glad you gave up on PC gaming too. We don't need you here, that's for sure.
