Out October 25th, in the US at least (prob Oct 27th/28th elsewhere).
I'm not sure what to think of this news. It's by a different studio (WB Montreal) and it's a 7th gen console release, which is a given since the article says that they're recycling Rocksteady's assets. Still I'll take this any day over the rumoured "Silver Age" sequel from a while back (aka the "camp Batman").

Slade Wilson is a featured villain though, so I guess that's kinda cool. I don't think he's a usual member of Batman's rogue gallery though (Teen Titans, I think?).

LET THE MILKING BEGIN! (or continue, depending on your perspective).
Personally I'd rather a -proper- sequel. Meh.

As long as they don't hew too close to the Frank "Whores Whores Whores" Miller model I'm game.

To clarify the original post, I don't consider WiiU to be a 8th generation console. It's ROFL gen and a paperweight.
Fucking Nintendo hoping lightning would strike twice by releasing a highly dated POS with a gimmicky controller. Sorry, the fickle casual market who lapped up the Wii 1 have moved onto Facebook and mobile games.

The Arkham games remind me of Burton's batman with all of the characters replaced with the ones from BTAS.
I still wish they'd do an Adam West Arkham game. Or one based on The Brave & The Bold.

Kevin Conroy replaced by Roger Craig Smith
Mark Hamill replaced by Troy Baker
Paul Dini replaced by Dooma Wendschuch and Corey May

Smith is the current voice of Chris Redfield from Resident Evil and Baker has quite the resume as Batman AC's Two-Face and Robin, Bioshock Infinite's Booker DeWitt, Mass Effect's Kai Leng, as well as a fucking mountain of anime roles.
Paul Dini is a long-time writer for DC -- Wendschuch and May's writing credits mostly seem to center around Assassin's Creed.

Am I the only one sick of surly Nu-Batman? Golden age (Bob Kane era) was the shit. We need to visit that era. Not this post-Miller b.s. I'd take the Denis O'Neill/Neal Adams era, too.
