The Damavand Peak map in its Rush mode variation looks amazing. During one phase of the map, the attacking US side's base is at the top of a cliff and they have to parachute to down to get to the defending Russian side's MCOMs.

SP launch trailer. It looks surprisingly promising actually. I doubt that it'd be any worse than the BFBC2 campaign at least.

I guess it's no coincidence that both BF3 and MW3 get trailers out at the same time?
Well, the MW3 wins because I can actually watch it on YT unlike BF3 which is apparently too hardcore.

It's a great idea, helps counter the storage deficiencies of DVD.
Of course it wouldn't even be needed if the console hadn't been designed with the HDD as optional. Aside from MS rushing the system out of the door with inadequate cooling (thus leading to the RRoD dilemma), I still think that was the biggest design mistake of the 360.
EDIT:- You know what, even if the HDD was a mandatory part of the machine having an optional HD texture pack would still be a great idea. A lot of console owners HATE mandatory installs (i.e. survey PS3 owners) and prefer it to be 100% plug and play.
