single player is boring
by the way, whats the point of DX11 if their ragdoll appears for 2 seconds and body's disappear in ~10 seconds

For as much as they hyped up the character animation pre-release, the facial movement is fucking appalling. Playing through the SP campaign feels like I'm watching fucking Tom Clancy's Thunderbirds.
The characters also have dead eye stares. Dead bodies look like blow up dolls, with their bug eyes and pornface expressions.

well, they hyped the movement animation system and that is pretty good. facial is not as you pointed out. engine has too exaggerated reflexions/lightsources for my taste as well. every streetlight gives you a headache.

Why is that disconnects always seem to happen just when you're having a good match? This would happen to me all the time during BF:BC2 and MoH 2010 (all DICE Frostbite games), BF3 thus far is proving to be no different.
My suggestion would be to add anyone who was a useful squadmember to your friend list. Took me a couple of months with BC2, but now I have a reasonable list of people to play with, and it seems more often than not if you can get a couple of people together it translates to the best gameplay.

Kharg Island is a pretty good Rush map. I was afraid it was going to be an unfun, unbalanced affair favouring the Defenders' like BC2's Isla Innocentes, given the attackers' initial insertion by sea. Getting to the main land mass and staying there is easy since the MCOMs are nowhere near the shore.

Nightmaremode has some rad articles. Tell them to get Eric Lockaby to do more stuff.
