The Gadget Show, a UK tv show of varying quality, set up a great BF3 simulator with auto paintball guns that shoot at you. Actually looks pretty cool.

Someone unsurprisingly started a (http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/js51f/ea_origin_spyware_issue_silently_boycotting_will/) boycott of Origin over on Reddit. That's no big deal, but one interesting comment there mentioned (http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/js51f/ea_origin_spyware_issue_silently_boycotting_will/c2epwbx) running Origin in Sandboxie so that EA doesn't catalogue your hard drive or whatever it is that Origin does.

Since many of you are apparently stupid enough to actually hand over money to EA to support their undermining of your privacy, there are some instructions in that thread that should help you locate which folders need to be sandboxed. You can thank me later :cool:

They've released a trailer for the Back to Karkand expansion, which promises greater emphasis on destruction. BF3 vanilla dialled back from BFBC2's total destruction of buildings in favour for just "fascades". I'm guessing because they wanted to encourage more CoD kids to play? *shrug*
