Hey cool. Thanks for dropping in and giving us some information!
I personally really love the idea of ecosystem games (being an environmental lawyer), and am cheering for this one. There was that one game simulating wolves and I thought this is just scratching the surface of the potential, and when is somebody going to do dinosaurs? Thank you for filling that very important void in my life...

You can also be a dinosaur in (
http://www.pixeljam.com/dinorun/) Dino Run. I'm sure scientific community would laught at it, but it was fun all the same.

I wonder if they'll be drawing any inspiration from Trespasser?

Yes, if only to recreate that wonderful moment when a Raptor head butts a Triceratops and it flies up into the air and disappears over the horizon.

Hi Keith, thanks for dropping by! (no pun intended). Can you tell me if there are any plans to tour the exhibition in the UK? I'm dying to try this thing out, John Hutchinson showed me the videos and stuff from when he came out to have a go on it, it sounds incredible. Do you have the other species working for it yet, or is it still restricted to T rex/Triceratops?

they took the parts that didn't make it into trespasser an created a new sim ;)
Stuff like simulation driven animation (granted not as intricate as muscles), while it's still in there I think, it was a lot less complex than initially intended. And they were going to have the whole hunger, agression, ecology-whatever sim going which also got cut down to something very simple.
Seeing as, despite its flaws, I'm one of the weird people who still loved trespasser, the thought of turning this be the dino into a game would be interesting. A good eco sim of a living breathing world with dinos, then throw me in as a poor little scared human, a nice little story around it and I'm good to go.

I remember that; if I recall correctly, they ended up setting the anger stat to max in the final game because their system didn't work as implemented.
