So it's basically a super sale campaign over various hardware and software platforms. Go grab stuff! Most if not all stuff is indie.
"We believe that developers should have the freedom to price their games how they like, without interference from the online stores that sell the games. Why? Because it allows us to promote our games more freely, as we are doing here! We rely on the ability to promote our games for our livelihood and control over pricing is an important tool for this purpose.
For the last week of May (May 24 through June 1) our games will be deeply discounted to celebrate online stores that give us control over pricing: The App Store, Google Play, Steam, and a few others. "

I'm assuming the Steam stuff will be kicking in in an hour like every Steam update? A lot of the direct-to-developer links don't seem to be updated yet either.

Not very big discounts honestly. :erg:
I might end up getting Lunar Flight. Vessel is still a tad too pricey for my liking. Not seeing much else of interest.

Got Defender's Quest, a great tower defense kind of affair with several twists, for 3 bucks. Try the demo, stay for the full version!
Also, they're working on an upgraded version of the game which will be free to everyone who bought the this version.

Lots and lots of things to investigate here. Here are a couple I've bought and enjoyed before, which are quite excellent value in the sale:
(
http://scoregasm-game.com/) Scoregasm - $2.99

(

and of course, some much higher-profile games, if for some reason you haven't checked them out before...
(
http://www.2dboy.com/games.php) World of Goo - $2.99
(

(
http://braid-game.com/) Braid - $5.00
(no specific thread here, it would seem)
(
http://www.frozensynapse.com/) Frozen Synapse - $12.49

Plenty of other things look intriguing / entertaining... I'm tempted by Fotonica, Vessel, Ichi, Dino Run, Explodemon, Deadly 30, Dark Scavenger (!?!)

Thanks Al_B. My fault for assuming that a thread with the search term in its title would be considered relevant enough for page 1 of the results.
