That is a tough question to answer. My FM recommendations would be Hidden Agenda and Heist Society (for Thief 2, both by AsyluM), Between These Dark Walls (for Thief Gold, by skacky) and last but not least: Geller's Pride (for TG, by Spitter).

These are some of my personal favourite missions that are extremely fun to play. I also chose them because they stay true to the original Thief games, gameplay and visual-wise which I think makes it easier for newbies to get into. After all, grand-scale FMs like Ominous Bequest and the Calendra series might be a little too much to take in, at first. :D
