That depends. Are there any tracks in Doom that are so similar to anything Slayer's done that they may as well be the same song?
Among other bands. (

Hey, I forgot about Chrome. It has awesome music. It's sort of an electronic modernish soundtrack. Think "high tech" and "action". also, has anyone played the game? I heard it was very underappreciated.

Variously inspired is not the same thing as various artists. We don't say that Slayer wrote the music for Doom, do we?
Short answer: My tags are correct, but iTunes is stupid almost as often as it is smart.
Long answer: iTunes will display an album with more than one artist as two albums in certain cases unless it's specified as a "compilation." So, 10 Mark Morgans and an Ink Spot becomes Various Artists to avoid displaying as two albums, one album composed entirely of a single track. Life in Apple's walled garden.

I really, really loved Dreams Come True's work on the Sonic the Hedgehog series. At an early age that really left an impression on me.

I don't think Doom's E1M1 map is ripping off No Remorse. The riff is pretty generic to begin with, and it isn't even playing all the same notes.
edit - Just listened to the rest: most of them ARE obviously borrowed, though.

I played it and quite liked it, although I seem to remember getting annoyed by the copy/paste architecture.
Can't recall the music however.

Why have there been posts after this one.
Agreed. Outcast had awesome music.
Also going to add Star Control 2. The music they had for each of the alien races just seemed to fit their personalities perfectly
