Goldeneye - I'm not sure if the music was from the film or just inspired by, but it was damn near perfect for the setting. Not sure it's what I'd listen to on it's own though.

I've been listening to a bit of the soundtrack from Halo ODST, and I'm really really surprised at how phenomenal their composer is, and has actually become. Really experimental, trying new things, etc. I've always absolutely hated the guitar use in the Halo games, but he's actually somewhat nailed it in the latest one. There's a bit of sax, too, used equally well.
He's fast becoming my favorite game composer.
