So, I recently won an Ebay auction and got myself both Jedi Outcast and Jedi academy for a decent price. My question is are there any "must have" mods for each game that I should know about.
I'm looking for things like: graphic enhancers(improved textures/models), better looking normal lightsabers(more colorful sharper etc), and anything else that might enhance the experience without changing the actual game.(never played it before).
I think this is the right forum for this, but if not, please move this to the correct section. Maybe "Legacy"?

This is the current version. We are still working on the next version actively. Also population is low, as the current version is quite buggy, but you can practice it with bots too
At first glance, it might seem like a completely broken mod, but don't let that get to you. Come to the forums to see what we have planned for future versions. We have some of the most talented people on the team

Cool, good to know. It's a shame I already decided to play Outcast first however, because I'm really excited about jedi academy. Know any for JK2?
And I agree Eva, single-player mods are what I'm looking for the most too. I understand that there are some on Jedi Knight filefront, but there are hundreds there and I'm not sure if I have the time to go through all of them. Or if I even want to.

The DF mod is very well made. The developers made very sure to adhere to the feel of the original game, and they succeeded
There are only a few SP mods on jk3files worth checking out though. You can run a search on singleplayer maps, and most of them that come up are worth downloading
Jedi Outcast had great singleplayer combat. It was fast and intense, even though the level designs were sometimes questionable (as always according to Raven's standards). However, multiplayer combat was lacking - it's a hit miss thing, unlike the cool parrying action you see in the movies. This gets carried over to Jedi Academy, so you may be disappointed with the more watered down combat in Jedi Academy
On the sidenote: that's what Open Jedi Project aims to change in Jedi Academy

JK multiplayer was wicked fun against the bots when you wanted a quick blast, though.

I am looking for the XBOX ports of these. I LOVE Raven, and only played the demo of JK2 on my PC. It was horrible, but I keep hearing that the first few levels (from which the demo was from) are terribly bland compared to the rest of the 24 level game.
That said, I am willing to give them another spin.
BTW...did Raven do Jedi Academy, also?

Yes, though I think someone else helped out on the XBox version.

Ah, I'll look into that. Thanks.
*edit*
Something I read about 'Vicarious Visions' did the port. They did the DooM 3 & Resurrection of Evil ports for xbox as well, IIRC.
