How long will this voting last? I'd like to play at least a couple of these before casting a vote because I think I played only Lampfire so far.

I was constantly arguing with myself for how long I should let it run. Fortuni thought it might get boring if we let it last more than 1 week. But maybe 2 weeks would be better for the next voting.

i voted
out of the missions listed i see 2 that have so much game play compared to what is highest voted
i don't even see how this is worth doing,everyone who has been around already knows what is popular and new people will be pushed away from trying more obscure missions
this by no way shows what is best,and i am not trying to be sour but bad idea in my view

We'll have to find another polling solution ere long, especially for T2. 50-100 missions per year (early-late 2000's) isn't doable

Since this poll will last so very short I just chose mission that I played not too long ago and had good fun with it. Is it my favorite? No, I would say my favorite was Garrett's Revenge (mission was remade next year as Errand Boy). But surprisingly this mission wasn't on a list.

The point is to have a bit of fun, pure and simple, for the next couple of months there will be one poll every week, and at the end of the summer we'll have a grand finale of all the individual winners to vote for the best FM ever. Nothing like this has been done before, and yes we all know which are the hugely popular missions but has there ever been a vote to choose the very best of the very best.
Just have a bit of fun and vote whenever you can, the grand finale will be an event worth every minute.

Downwinder you are totally missing the point. The point of this whole poll is to have fun and to actually get some of the missions to know better. As several others pointed out already, not everyone (actually no one) has played all missions like you did. I for myself am a newbie, and I got to know those missions alot better by now.
I´m playing one every day now too so I´ll be able to give my final vote. But yes, autumn in lampfire hill is my favourite till now.
Azaran, you are completely right about that. I will have to split the polls then and make like 3-4 polls for only a year and then a final poll for the winner.
Galaer, exactly the reason why it´s not in here: Errand boy will be in the T2 poll, so I didn´t see the point in having the same mission (just worse) in the T1 poll when we already have a limit of 20 missions per poll.

It doesn't change that Garrett's Revenge is my favorite mission of 1999. Plus it was released first before Errand Boy.
