Oh my thats a great idea! :D Naming the 20th place "other" so people can vote for the other missions too if they want. I´ll also write down those missions in the first comment, so people know which missions are meant and they can check them out too if they want. That´s the best constructive suggestion I got here, thanks alot for this! :)
I´m only half through the missions of 1999 so far, but I gotta say my favourite until now is library! :)

Sorry, Samantha1, if my previous post here felt negative. I think I was expecting something very serious. Forcing people to play all missions and score them to create most accurate result. But after a while I realized that my thought isn't very realistic. You can't really force players to play every mission. That would be too demanding for them. As a lighthearted fun game for people here, it works really well. It definitely test my memory. I'm only confident in 2018+ year. As for other years not so much. I definitely played every mission from 1999, but out of your list I only remember 4 missions: Odium, Trickster's Return, Rose of Bantry and Fall of a Chook.
So I really wish you good luck with these polls.

Thanks galaer, that´s really nice to hear! :) That was what I thought too, I myself would not want to play more than 20 missions, it´d just be too much and feel more like work than actually having fun. So this solution is a pretty neat one :)

Well done Samantha. :thumb:
Good idea. I don’t know any of these missions (before I was born :joke:) so it's nice to find out about them. I won’t be able to play many before the deadline but I’ll definitely keep an eye on what people vote for and play when I get a chance. As it was first on the list I downloaded Autumn in Lampfire Hills and although I’m only a small way into the mission I’m amazed how good it is for 1999. I confess that I couldn’t get fire.zip to load in AngelLoader so I’m playing a version from 2014, Lampfire_2.1a.zip. Does that disqualify me from voting?

Thank you :D the next polls will have a deadline of 2 weeks, I realize that 1 week is just way too short
Tbh I cant even remember if I played the original 1999 mission or the updated version, since I played it a long time ago, but no, it doesn´t disqualify you from voting. The voting is more meant for fun anyway:joke:

The first three winners are:
1. Autumn in lampfire hills
2. Bloodstone prison
3. Death of Garrett
Congratulations! :D
The next poll will start soon :)

I voted for Bloodstone Prison. I readily recognize that Autumn in Lampfire Hills was more ambitious and has had a much bigger influence on the scene (which can still be felt today), but Bloodstone Prison is super solid and polished where Autumn is rough around the edges. It really feels like something you could find in the original game.
Also, Death of Garrett is pretty cool too so it's nice to see it in the top 3. Lord Edmund Entertains is another mission that shouldn't be missed imo.

Poll is closed, but i would have voted for Shunned: Fistral's story and Bloodstone Prison!
I havent played the winner, Autumn in Lampfire, yet tho. I been following the dates on Taffer's Paradise, so that FM is listed in its 2014's re-release.
Otherwise, i played all 1999 displayed there :D

I just finished Bloodstone prison the other day, nice solid mission. It is a bit of a challenge on expert, the haunts are in pairs, which you rarely see. I enjoyed it, and just by chance, I followed the ghost, nice! Finished Lord Edmund yesterday. Its nice to go back and replay these again, its our history, our humble beginnings. There is still so much life in these older FM's, they shouldn't be over looked, and we can still learn much from them.

I was late from this poll but played Autumn in Lampfire some days later and was really surprised how good it was. It's hard to believe that it was done already in 1999!
