Not sure about thief one but my favoirte in thief 2 was definitley the Life of the Party. I really liked the skyscraper type building.

Well the best missions are fan missions. The worst missions are FM's too so at least we run the gamut. :D
But for OM's Assassins and Ambushed top my list.

From OMs, Assassins, Return to the Cathedral, The Sword and The Haunted Cathedral, for entirely different reasons. They represent four aspects of Thief I really like. :D (Although with Assassins, the city part could have used some expansion - the FM Lorgan's Web did just this)
As for FMs... too many to mention, but Calendra's Cistern is the one I would put first.

I adore The Sword - no game I've played before or since has captured the atmosphere of that level.
But Life of the Party is a close second.

SlyFoxx has a point. Some of the best missions I've played were FMs; as were some of the very worst.
