Indeed. A specific note from Dr. Sandbridge mentions that he wanted to keep the doctor training to a minimum for some upcoming procedures, as he believed they could learn more from mistakes then if everything went according to plan.

Insane asylums and orphanages are the two classic places where the worst treatment of people took place and thus, the undead that inhabit those places are likely to be of the worst sort. I suppose prisons could also qualify, but I think people have no sympathy for most people in prison and thus they never get any credit for being horrible places. Maybe it is because prisoners are not viewed as being as vulnerable as orphans and asylum inmates so mistreatment of prisoners is not considered as awful. Either way, the combination of the mistreatment of the orphans and asylum inmates coupled with the horrible ways in which they died should result in undead of the most terrifying sort (and admittedly the undead inmates did have a pretty high creepy factor). It was almost too bad that there were no orphan undead (not counting the one plot related one). They could probably have done some pretty good work with those. They could have put in some story to say that not all the orphans were killed in the fire and some were left to be the playthings of the inmates after the staff had all fled from the flames. :ebil:
Perhaps the undead asylum inmates could still be torturing the undead orphans while Garrett is making his way through the cradle.

The place where Ghosthunters went to had a combination of an insane asylum, orphanage, and a rest home. The most they found there were bats :joke:

Hey I just thought about something which I dont think anyone has asked before !
How did Inspector Drept manage to escape the Cradle ?
It seems that the events that led to the destruction of the Cradle occured quite soon after Lauryl's murder. The inamtes were convinced to revolt by King No One to protest the fact that inmate 5 was accused of killing Lauryl and was going to be lobotomised . This couldn't have taken more than a month or a year at most. Drept seems to be around the same age as Lauryl which is 8-12 yrs . So its not likely that he was released from the orphanage at that age to fend for himself within that short timespan . I dont know if anyone escaped form the cradle during the revolt but if Drept did escape he would have been a beggar until he was old enough to join the Hammers.
What do you think about Drept's story?

As far as I recall, a very small group of people managed to escape the Cradle during the White Hall revolt. Drept was probably among them.
