Of course the predecessor and successor (and migration) companies are all part of LGS lore, and somewhere (on this site?) there's some nice articles talking about them ... like the one "About LGS" and the LGS Postmortem article.

Interesting chart, anyway. Funny how there's a movement both to more consolidation (of the mid/big players) and more fragmentation (of little indie shops; at the bottom) ... sort of an interesting commentary of the industry on its own.

I believe Irrational used that logo before SS2 was announced! :D If I remember right they switched to the old centered "i" logo when their SS2 website went live (which, coincidentally, I designed) and then switched to off-center "i" logo when SS2 was released. I think Irrational has had more company logos (if you include the 2K ones) than they have games. ;)
