Have to say, the concept art has been pretty good, for what that's worth. Is that the first glimpse of a super mutant, or is he just a tall guy wearing some sort of gas mask/ helmet?

If I hear another "but it just doesn't feel like Fallout" from the NMA community about the concept art, I'll implode.

It's probably cuz they realized he showed up just to give everyone a shining example of his sharp sarcastic wit. And cuz hardcore Fallout fans are notoriously thin-skinned, they couldn't handle it and gave him the boot.
Seriously, I think NMA's reputation has gotten out of hand, and they're taking more flak than they deserve. They might be a little overly priggish and elitist at times, but generally they're not all that bad. All except that one guy...what's his name...Roshimbo? That guy is like prison rape personified.

roshambo is quite possibly the most famous member of the FO community ever. if only because he is what people mean when they talk about how fucking loony FO fans are. i mean the guy honestly thinks he's a developer because he's a prominent member of the community and spent time yelling at the FOT team.

He's implied that he worked on at least one of the Ultima games.
Anyway, I really like that latest image. The others were nice, but this is the first one that really has that Fallout feel.

I don't get the point of the "nope, not fallout" mentality.
It look sgood and there's every chance it will be good without mimicking the previous games too closely.
People who liked Fallout presdumably like post-apocalyptic, dystopian sci-fi RPGs, so they really ought to wait and see if this one tickles that part of their brain in a nice way - otherwise, there's really nothing to stop them from playing the original Fallout games again, if that's what they so desperately want.
