The more creative are their concepts, the less Fallouty they are.
The more Fallouty concept they present, the less creative they are.
Now make a game for such people.

Exactly.

I just find that screen so obvious, and after that totally underwhelming music and concept art they had so much faith in releasing, why this lack of confidence in "there" game at the last minute?.
I'm all for a new fallout game in the tradition of the old ones, id kinda hoped it would be an mmorpg as a natrual progression.
But its like they are trying to reassure us this is going to be the game that the original fans wanted with that screen, when they clearly have a game that is going to divided people right down the middle (fps/rpg!!!? console centric).
Still, im looking forward to the trailer!!if its going to be a new style of game, lets hope the universe is, at least, left intact.

I'm glad they don't let you anywhere near game development.

Just a guess, it would make more sense unless its was an rts, pc exclusive.

And what was that supposed to mean.

Fallout has never been an RTS
Unless maybe you can count Tactics as one? I don't know, I have it but haven't installed it yet.

Oh god...
The characters, nods to the history of previous games, style, tone of the humor
Fallout 2 did it right, bumping into characters from fo1 when there much older.
Fallout universe, fallout world? i dunno:p
***i don't think id miss the rats and ants too much though***

But where would be the optimal sweet spot between loyalty to classic Fallout canon and new content and innovative features, a creative addition of Bethesda?
