I'm actually not too wild about the tech demo. I liked the turn-based combat in the old Fallout games. This seems even more clumsy. :(

*Epic* sounding stuff like this totally ruins the fallout feel for me. Fallouty music ought to convey a desolate wasteland, not an epic quest to save the world (which Fallout was NEVER about, in fact you end up causing major damage in some endings).
Oh, and it's an opinion, and just as worthless as anyone else's.

Yes. In Fallout 3 you will save the world just like you consequentially did in previous Fallout installments.
